As part of its commitment to supporting members in their Continuing Professional Development (CPD), NZTEA regularly organises online presentations covering a wide range of technical and non-technical topics. These sessions are led by experienced professionals and subject matter experts, aiming to enhance both professional expertise and personal growth.

Technical Topics:

  • Structural Engineering
    Industry advancements and emerging technologies, practical design and construction solutions, case studies, and best practice procedures.
  • Geotechnical Engineering
    Topics such as soil behaviour, ground stability and improvement techniques, foundation design, and liquefaction risk mitigation.
  • Governance & Legislation
    Insights into key regulatory frameworks including the New Zealand Building Act, Auckland Unitary Plan, Resource Management Act (RMA), Local Government Act (LGA), and other environmental legislation relevant to engineering practice.
